You Said, We Listened: Unveiling the Results of #ProjectShape!

Remember how we were chatting about wanting to do things differently at Ambela? We weren't content with just launching another jeans brand and hoping you'd trust us on the fit and feel. We craved something more – a chance to build this brand with YOU!

So, we hit pause, regrouped, and launched the epic #ProjectShape campaign. Why? Because how can we design the perfect pair of jeans without understanding the challenges faced by all shapes and sizes?

And let me tell you, you guys came through in a BIG way! Over 26,000 amazing women participated in #ProjectShape. The campaign included a survey where you spilled the tea on all your jean-buying problems. You even got to create your very own mini-me avatar to represent your unique body shape and skin tone. Plus, you could upload a pic of yourselves rocking your best-fitting jeans (if you had to choose some!).

All this incredible data gave us the intel we needed to understand your pain points and how to fix them. 

Thanks to your insights, we were able to revise our initial designs. We made sure the jeans sat a touch higher on the waist for a better fit, banished camel toe once and for all, and eliminated any dreaded bagginess in the crotch area. Most importantly, we heard loud and clear your desire to eliminate gappage at the back of your jeans.

Behind the Scenes: From Sketch to Sample

Now, creating jeans that fit like a dream doesn't happen overnight. It's a process that involves a lot of love (and maybe a few late nights!). Once the design is finalised, we move on to meticulous pattern cutting, followed by the magic of sewing, stitching, and washing.

With all your feedback in hand, we went back and forth with our supplier, meticulously revising the samples. Even the details of the jean tears were crafted with love based on your amazing form submissions! After a few weeks of eager anticipation, we finally received the holy grail – 20 pre-production samples in all sizes. These beauties then went straight to our fitting session for the final verdict.
