Behind the Scenes of Our Fitting Session!

Remember how we embarked on this incredible journey to design the perfect pair of jeans with YOU? Well, buckle up, because we're taking you behind the scenes of our recent fitting session – a pivotal moment that shaped the future of Ambela!

We invited 20 amazing women from our community, representing sizes 6-28 and inseam lengths of 26-34, to put our pre-production samples to the test. The day kicked off with a warm introduction to the Ambela brand, a heartfelt recap of our design odyssey (including those hilarious sample fails – let's face it, some materials were just not meant to be jeans!) and a transparent look at the entire sampling process.

The Art of Sampling: From Sketch to Sample

Ever wondered how a dream jean design transforms into a tangible pair you can slip on? The sampling process is where the magic happens! First, our design team meticulously translates our vision into a technical sketch, complete with detailed specifications. This blueprint then goes to our trusted manufacturer, who creates a series of samples, meticulously crafted to match our vision. It's an iterative process, with each sample rigorously assessed for fit, quality, and that all-important feeling of comfort.

The Fitting Room Revelations

Now, back to our fitting session! Our 20 amazing ladies were the first to experience the culmination of all our hard work. They slipped on their sizes and lengths, and their honest feedback was pure gold. While the overall fit was spot-on (thanks to your incredible #ProjectShape contributions!), one key point emerged – the lengths needed tweaking. It turned out some inseams were running a tad longer than expected, with a 34-inch label translating to a 37-inch or even 38-inch in reality. Another minor note involved the adjustable buckle, which some ladies felt could benefit from a touch more sturdiness.

Taking Action and Moving Forward

Armed with this valuable feedback, we immediately went into action. The lengths were adjusted to ensure perfect proportions across all sizes. The back buckle design was revisited for a touch of extra strength. And then, with immense excitement, we officially launched into production!

This fitting session was a resounding success, all thanks to YOU, our incredible community. The data collected from these amazing women, representing a diverse range of body types and preferences, has been instrumental in shaping the future of Ambela jeans.
