Ambela is a denim-focused clothing brand built around a loyal, engaged community. Founded by an influencer with 2.8m followers, we're looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to bring strategy and organisation to our social presence as we grow.
You'll own our day-to-day social output, from planning the feed and posting schedule, to spotting what's working and turning it into fresh ideas, to finding the right influencers and UGC creators for upcoming campaigns. You'll work across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, closely with our Head of Marketing (who runs Meta ads and reporting).
This is a hands-on, in-person role for someone with a sharp eye for what makes a fashion brand's feed feel cohesive and current, and a genuine interest in denim and fashion culture.
What you'll do
- Plan and manage the content calendar and posting schedule across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube
- Curate the overall look of the feed, keeping posts visually consistent and on brand
- Analyse what has performed well and turn those insights into new content ideas
- Find suitable influencers and UGC creators for campaigns (rate negotiation can be handled separately)
- Work with our Head of Marketing on how organic content and paid campaigns fit together
- Brief and shape content with our in-house editor
- Keep on top of trends, competitor activity and platform changes relevant to fashion and denim brands
- Track social performance and set targets around key brand activity, events and product drops
- Produce light reporting on organic social performance against targets
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in social media for a brand, ideally in fashion, DTC or a related consumer space
- Excellent hands-on experience with Instagram and Facebook, including how each platform's features and algorithms work
- Good working experience with TikTok and YouTube
- A strong eye for aesthetics and feed curation
- Comfort using performance data to inform content decisions, with a good understanding of organic reporting
- Experience identifying and vetting influencers and UGC creators (negotiation experience is a plus)
- Highly organised and able to manage a content calendar and multiple moving parts independently
- Basic photo and video editing skills are a bonus, but not essential; you'll work alongside a dedicated editor
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working closely with founders and senior stakeholders
- Able to work in person, 5 days a week, from our Cardiff office
What we offer
- £32,000–£42,000, depending on experience
- The chance to help shape the social presence of a fast-growing, founder-led brand
When you apply, please include a link to any social or content work you're proud of.
